Wave setup

In a few simple moves you can convert your Yo Concept board to a mutant with an asymmetrical stance and fin setup. This will not convert it to a pure wave board but will help you a lot to ride waves, while keeping all the performance of the twin tip.
If you are „regular“ just move both pads to the extreme right position, put two 5,5 fins on the right and two 4,5s on the left side. If you are „goofy“, put all the stuff reverse; pads and larger fins on the left, smaller fins on the right side.

Fins

This year we have come up with 2 new fin sizes: 4,5 and 5,5 cm.
If you choose the smaller ones, you will have less grip and more loose board feel, which is a perfect choice for an advanced free styler. Some of you will need the 5,5s during lighter wind conditions. Using larger fin size will also result in better grip and carving ability on choppy waters.
You can also combine fin sizes by putting 5,5s at the heel rail and the 4,5s on the toe side. This will give you more rail feel during loaded jumps while keeping good manoeverability.
Another purpose of different fin sizes is wave riding. You can simply put bigger ones under the preferred back leg and the small ones in the front. This way you can convert your twin tip to a mutant.

Steellock

In order to gain a new dimension in functionality of the pad/strap combination, we have developed an innovative attach system called STEELLOCK. A very simple solution for easy, bomb proof and absolutely no twist assembly.
We have decided to use also in 2010 our very well rated EVA wedge shaped footpad concept. It’s a true alternative to the most moulded footpads.
